Disneyland 65th Anniversary Merchandise Coming to Shop Disney
In just a few days it will be 65 years since Disneyland lowered the drawbridge of Sleeping Beauty’s castle and welcomed guests. To celebrate this milestone Disneyland resort will be releasing a new line of celebratory merchandise on July 14.
How to Purchase the Merchandise
Due to the ongoing closures of Disneyland the release of the anniversary merchandise will be released via Shop Disney on July 14th at 10 am Pacific Time (1 pm Eastern Standard Time) on the Disneyland Park 65th Anniversary Online Event site. The merchandise will be limited quantities and not guaranteed to be in stock.
There will be two delivery options. You can have it shipped directly to your home for an additional fee. Alternatively, you can reserve a one hour window to pick up your finds at Downtown Disney.
The Trading Pins

The four limited addition pins include the Hatbox Ghost, Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle, the Disneyland Marquee sign with Mickey and the gang posed around it, and a Disneyland map as a jumbo pin.

To mark the occasion there is also a limited edition coin. On one side Mickey is posed next to the saying, “The Happiest Place on Earth”. The other side features Sleeping Beauty Castle denoting the 65th anniversary.
The Clothing

The 65th Anniversary line will include a t-shirt with opening day attractions that are still operating.

No Disney Merchandise line is complete without a brand new spirit jersey. This one is in blue with the Disneyland’s “The Happiest Place on Earth” written across the back.
There is also a camp shirt that has several of the park icons and the number 65 scattered across it.
The Accessories

Lounge Fly will be releasing a blue two tone mini backpack that has Mickey and Minnie standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The back side has the words “Happiest Place on Earth – Disneyland”.

The classic Mickey Ears will turn silver with a blue hat portion. Mickey Mouse stands front and center with the words 65 years of Magic. The back of the Ears are stitched with “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

We here at Disney Fashion Blog love to collect Minnie Ears. This new headband will be blinged out and have a big bedazzled blue bow.

A 1000 piece Disneyland puzzle will also be available. Once completed the picture measures 20 inches by 20 inches.

Annual passholders will have several choices of exclusive items including shirts, trading pins, and a wishable straight from the Matterhorn, an Abominable Snowman.
