Our Disney Fashion Blogger was up bright and early this morning to get our hands on the just released Sleeping Beauty Castle and Walt Disney 65th Anniversary Funko Pop! Funko Pop collectors are the real deal, they know what merchandise will be released where and when and they are willing to wait for it! We braved a long line at Frontier Trading post but it was worth it for this must have item! Check it out!
For reader unfamiliar with Funko Pops, they are essentially vinyl figures that generally depict people or characters. This item is unique in that it represents a place. This Funko Pop commemorates Disneyland’s 65th Anniversary with Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

As a bonus, this set includes Walt Disney himself! He appears holding a stuffed Mickey Mouse. This Funko pop really captures the Walt we know and love down to his forehead wrinkles and his gray moustache.
You can also appreciate the small details on the castle from this close up shot. Look at all the tiny windows and flags! Even though it’s small, all of the little things are well represented.
Many collectors keep these items secure in their original packaging. This box is also very cool. The back shows an abbreviated map of Disneyland, with the Castle and Walt in the center surrounded by Disneyland’s most iconic attractions.

We grabbed this set at Frontier Trading Post in the Magic Kingdom this morning. It retails at $39.99 and there was a limit of 4 per guest. Regardless, it is likely that you’ll see these popping up on eBay soon for much more than that $39.99 price!
Although shelves were well stocked this morning, this item will not last long! Even Santa is going to have a hard time getting this hands on these!
