Disney Is Selling a $350 Cinderella Dress for Kids
You won’t believe what I found on shopDisney last night. I was browsing their selection of Cinderella dresses, hoping to find a suitable one for my daughter to wear on our upcoming Disney trip, when I nearly fell out of my chair. What was so shocking, you ask?

Cinderella Signature Dress for Kids
This beautiful, sparkly Cinderella dress caught my eye immediately. It was gorgeous! Fit for a princess! It was perfect. I quickly glanced at the price and just as quickly burst into laughter.

Yes, folks, you’re seeing that correctly. $350 for a children’s dress. I thought it was a mistake, so of course I had to dig a little deeper and see exactly what makes it so expensive. Here’s what I found from shopDisney:
“Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort
- Satin bodice covered in mesh
- Embroidered floral filigree with sequined accents
- Button back
- Pleated organza sleeves and peplum
- Sequined satin skirt
- Mesh top skirt with curly hem
- Tulle underskirts
- Tea length”

To quote Elsa: I’m sorry, I’m confused. I can understand an adult possibly purchasing a dress of this caliber, but for a kid who’s going to grow out of it in a month? I don’t know, guys. Apparently there are folks out there who will drop $350 on their kids costume, because it’s currently sold out in a couple of sizes. To each their own, right!?

Oh, it comes in Rapunzel too, if that’s more your style. Perhaps these dresses would be wonderful for a Disney-themed flower girl dress, but other than that, I’m not so sure. What do you think of these elaborate (albeit, gorgeous) dresses?
