Small Shop Saturday!
After a little break we’re back with this week’s addition of Small Shop Saturday! Two of my recent Instagram finds, Studio 55 Supply Co. and Belle and Park, have quickly become favorites. Both give us classic Disney vibes but in an understated manner and make it easy to rock their looks at the park, out and about (as much as we can be these days) or hanging at home watching “Frozen 2” for the 100th time.
Studio 55 Supply Co.
Full disclosure, what drew me to Studio 55 Supply Co. was what I’ll call the “Disney edginess” they have to them. It’s subtle, but it’s there. I mean, my first purchase was a spooky season shirt of skeleton holding a Mickey balloon (not currently available but might be back).Minimal Disney influences is what shop’s owner strives to achieve. She’s taken her love for Disney and her background in Design to create the shop’s apparel.
We’re All Magic Seekers
Chances are, if you’re reading this blog, you are a magic seeker. What started off as a doodle, turned in to a pretty cool piece of apparel. In the words of Studio 55 and Co. “most, if not all Disney goers are Magic Seekers and we find that when we go on our magical trips”. Yes, 100% yes.
Three new designs have recently hit the shop, but the I had to feature the one that pays homage to what is arguably the most underrated ride in Tomorrowland, The Astro Orbitors. I may have also chosen this because my husband has a fear of this ride but that’s a different story, reach out to me for details. Honestly though, who doesn’t love the view of the park from the top of this classic ride?
Belle and Park
Belle and Park appeals to my sparkly, day dreaming, iced coffee loving side. Seriously, they even have a sweatshirt that says “Dreaming of iced coffee on Main Street”. What started with one custom cup listing on Etsy, has turned into a full shop of apparel, phone cases and more.
Cause Crew
Each month Belle and Park designs a new sweatshirt to support a cause voted by followers on Instagram, with 65% of the proceeds from each crew donated the cause of choice. This month, the cause crew is supporting the Cast Member Pantry which help support laid off Disney Cast Members during this time. I love the sentiment of this design featuring a photo of the castle and the words “Grab a hold of your dreams and make them come true”.
It wouldn’t be the holiday without some snow! Belle and Park’s holiday line is stocked with cute designs but my favorite is definitely the one with Elsa. All the Elsa feels with the words “You are the one you’ve been waiting for” below the image. You can find it on a variety of merch including the crop sweatshirt below, a crew sweatshirt, t-shirt and enamel mug.
