Holiday Merch Spotted – Walt Disney World is Getting Geared Up for Holiday Season
‘Tis the most wonderful time…oh wait, it’s still October! Believe it or not, Walt Disney World is getting geared up for holiday season. So excuse me while I put on “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (the perfect holiday crossover movie), grab some hot chocolate and check out the holiday merch.
Drink it up
Speaking of hot chocolate (cue the main street snowflakes) check out Mickey’s “Really Swell” Cocoa. For $13.99 you get three flavors; candy cane, cinnamon cocoa and double chocolate. The tins that they come in are so cute that I don’t even care how it tastes, although I’m sure it’s swell as the name implies.
Need a cute new cup to drink your holiday cheer from? Check out this holiday tumbler. At $19.99 it features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto dressed in their holiday finest.
Snacks for you and Santa
Santa needs his cookies and let’s be honest, you deserve some Christmas chocolate! He won’t be able to resist an evening snack when they’re served on a Gingerbread Mickey Cookie plate. At $25 the set also includes a little jug for milk and a straw to sip with.
Now, to those chocolates I mentioned earlier. For $14.99, what better way to countdown to Christmas than with Mickey and friends.
If you prefer to eat your chocolate without having to limit it to one piece per day, fear not there’s more candy! You can enjoy Peppermint Bark in a festive holiday tin ($17.99) or candy bars in seasonal flavors including eggnog and milk chocolate marshmallow($14.99).
Holiday Gear
I promise, I have some non edible merch to talk about! This is a fashion blog, not a food blog after all. I spotted two shirt options, a more fitted option ($29.99) and a t-shirt ($24.99). While both are red, the fitted style has subtle nods to Magic Kingdom attractions (hello holiday Tiki Room Bird sitting on the letter D) while the t-shirt features Mickey and the gang.
Ok, I know I said no more food but this is a plush so it doesn’t count. At $12.99, how cute is this little Gingerbread Mickey plush key chain? His little smile is sure to light up your day any time of year!
We’ll keep you updated as more holiday merchandise starts to appear at Disney. Until then, enjoy your halloween candy and Merry Happy All the Things!
