The Peter Pan Collection will be Released with MerchPass
The Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection is a very popular collection amongst Disney Fans. To the disappointment of many collectors, the original release of the 6th line in the series honoring Peter Pan’s Flight was delayed. However, Shop Disney has announced that the new Main Attraction collection will be released using the new Shop Disney MerchPass system this week.
Shop Disney MerchPass
Disney has several limited release merchandise lines that debut to very high demand. The company has tried many ways to release the different lines. Recent releases were done in a combination of in store and online, but in this post COVID 19 world they have moved all releases online to encourage social distancing. After facing several technical issues and guests’ complaints with online releases, Shop Disney has started a new random lottery program called MerchPass.

MerchPass is a system that lets guest sign up for an early access drawing to have the opportunity to purchase high demand items. The first step is to log on to Shop Disney and choose the items you want to purchase. You are able to pick more than one item, but you can only sign up one time per item. The second step is to watch your email after the entry time period closes to see if your entry is selected. The third step is to log on to Shop Disney during the purchase window and check out with your items. If your entry had been selected your items will already be in your cart.
You do not have to purchase the items if your entry is selected. Items not claimed by those guests selected by MerchPass will appear on Shop Disney at an unannounced time.
The Main Attraction: Peter Pan’s Flight
The collection includes several options honoring the classic attraction Peter Pan’s Flight.
The Minnie Mouse plush is mainly blue with stars on her dress and ears. Peter Pan and the Darling children are seen leaving Big Ben as they head for Neverland. She has the pirate ship perched in her bow.
The sequin blue ears have featured the second star to the right. There is a blue bow with the silhouettes of the Darling Children and Peter Pan hidden in the fabric. Tinker Bell is in the center of the bow ready to spread her pixie dust.
The blue mug features Captain Hook’s Pirate ship floating in the sky.
The sparkly Loungefly mini backpack depicts Peter Pan and the Darling children flying over London on their way to Neverland. The Minnie ears at the top of the backpack have the 1st and 2nd star to the right. A Tinkerbell charm is attached to the zipper on the front pocket.
The collector’s pins feature a pirate ship, Minnie dressed in the same costume as her plush, and a copy of the ears in the collection.
How to Purchase the Peter Pan Collection
Minnie Mouse lovers can register for the drawing to purchase the items from the Peter Pan Flight’s collection from Minnie Mouse: The Main Street Attraction Collection beginning 7 am Pacific (10 am Easter) July 27, 2020 through July 28, 2020 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. In order to register you will need a Shop Disney account.

The random drawing will take place on July 29, 2020. If your entry is selected you will be notified no later than July 30, 2020 at 5 pm Pacific.
Winners will have until July 31, 2020 to purchase the items.
We do not know when items that are not purchased will be available on Shop Disney. The Frozen Castle Collection is the only other collection to use MerchPass to this point, and that merchandise just randomly appeared on the website without announcement.
The Minnie Mouse: The Main Street Attraction Collection has been very popular. Due to the high demand Shop Disney will use MerchPass during the release for the sought after Peter Pan’s Flight items from the collection.
