Disney is constantly bringing us new, playful and fun clothing and accessories…and the latest Disney and Love Your Melon partnership project is no different! They have teamed up again to bring us adorable Disney hats in The Sensational Six Collection, which will be available for purchase beginning on Thursday, July 23rd at 10am CT. Your purchase will not only be a stylish one, but it will also support families who have been affected by cancer.

Love Your Melon: The Company’s Mission
Love Your Melon was founded in an entrepreneurship class at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota by two friends, Zachary and Brian, who wanted to start a business with a meaningful and powerful social impact. On a mission to improve the lives of children battling cancer since October 22, 2012, Love Your Melon began with the simple idea of putting a hat on every child battling cancer in America.
To date, Love Your Melon has given over 7.2 million dollars to the fight against pediatric cancer and over 200,000 hats to children battling cancer.
“Fifty percent (50%) of net profit from the sale of all Love Your Melon products is given to support charitable programming through the Love Your Melon Fund and the nonprofits we support. Together, we create therapeutic experiences and fund charitable programming initiatives for children and families battling cancer.”

The Sensational Six Collection
This latest collection consists of both bucket hats and denim washed caps. You’ll find each style features six fun colors- one for each Disney Pal! Here’s a sneak peek of each character’s color:
- Mickey in Crimson
- Minnie in Cloud
- Donald in Sea Glass
- Daisy in Light Pink
- Goofy in Palm
- Pluto in Natural
The bucket hats and baseball caps are 100% Cotton Twill. Each hat features a classic character’s face embroidered on the front, along with the Love Your Melon cursive logo. The logo is on the front of the bucket hats and on the back of the baseball caps.
Bucket Hats come in Kid and Adult sizes:
- Kids’ bucket hats measure 56 cm in circumference
- Adult S/M bucket hats measure 58 cm
- Adult L/XL bucket hats measure 60 cm
Baseball caps are one size, with an adjustable strap that fits a circumference of 20″ up to 24″.
All hats should be hand washed and spot cleaned, or dry cleaned only.
