Celebrate National Ice Cream Month in Disney Style!
Nothing quite hits the spot on a hot summer day like a nice cold ice cream- and good news! We now have an extra excuse to scoop up some more dessert. It’s National Ice Cream Month!
July was anointed “National Ice Cream Month” back in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan. In addition to the month-long celebration to the frosty dessert, the third Sunday of every July is also deemed National Ice Cream Day. This year, National Ice Cream Day is on July 19th, 2020.
Disney Serves Up Delicious Desserts
When I think about ice cream, it’s hard to not immediately think about Disney. It’s no secret that the Disney parks whip up some delicious ice cream creations. In fact, Disney World alone serves 3.3 million of their premium chocolate-covered Mickey Mouse ice cream bars every year.
Even if you are not a fan of the Mickey Mouse ice cream bar, Disney has seemingly endless ice cream options to satisfy any sweet tooth. Whether you like it soft serve, as a fruity whip, or served in a kitchen sink, Disney has an ice cream treat for everyone.
